Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO. GNI has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002. GNC is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Consulting Engineer (1 position based at Otaki, Battambang province)

Job description:

• Develop a curriculum for providing training about Solar system
• Control the process of Solar home system installation
• Act as the information center for all Solar lamp and Solar Home System users
• Work with technicians to set up Solar lamp production process
• Take part in leading the production team
• Ensure the adequate amount of monthly Solar lamp and Solar Home System production with good quality
• Prepare various reports are required
• Promote understanding about Solar energy to the target community people
• Represent GNC to attend in meeting, workshop and training as request
• Assist in other project activities as requested

Requirement

• At least 2 years experiences in electronic work or solar system
• Bachelor degree in electronics or vocational training in electronic or any related field
• Knowledge of  Solar Energy or electricity is the plus
• Experience in repairing electronic materials is the plus
• Good English, writing, listening, speaking and understanding
• Knowledge of MS word, Excel, PPT or publisher
• Good communication, team work, organizational and personality
