This course aims to provide participant with the knowledge, and to gain an understanding about examines fundamental theories, principles, perspectives, and practices of controlling/managing the project constraint. This course also aims to helping organizations do the right projects and helping managers do the projects right by taking holistic views. Hence, course is facilitating participant to achieve better development result with the people in the community they serve, affecting the well-being of target groups regarding program/project management and development.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this training course, participants are able:

  • Participants have ability and skill to develop their existing projects or a new project which is appropriate to the workplace.
  • Participants have ability to manage for basic constraints, scope, schedule, budget and quality.
  • Participants will learn from practice, experienced practitioners, fellow students and through the analysis of cases, viewing how effective managers help groups realize their potential.
  • Become more aware of and question personal, organizational, and community assumptions about how we work as development professionals in light of the need to demonstrate development result in our country. Become better consumers of management tools in order to avoid fads and gimmicks.
  • Identify opportunities where learnt principles, tools , and skills may be applied immediately in practice to work.
