Established since 1948, ChorogUsan for children (formerly known as ChildFund Korea) has been working in South Korea to protect children's rights and help children suffering from poverty and disease and started global programs to create a world where children are happy since 1997.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Management, Recording and Reporting (35%)
- Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Manage petty cash, bank transactions and internet banking.
- Prepare monthly tax declaration
- Support external audits and financial reviews
- Assist in preparing project budgets and revisions.
- Monitor actual expenditures and ensure coding accuracy.
- Conduct budget variance analysis and cash forecasting.
- Ensure document and filling management
- Provide procurement and logistics support.
- Manage contracts and assets.
- Hiring and personnel selection
- Ensure compliance with donor and national financial regulations.
- Support audit readiness and financial accountability.
- Contribute to donor/government financial.
- Team support
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required
- Professional certification such as ACCA or equivalent.
- Understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements relevant to nonprofit organizations.
- Experience in administrative processes, facility management and procurement
- Familiarity with tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and statutory reporting obligations applicable to NGOs.
- Intermediate knowledge of Accounting Software (QuickBooks), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT), email and Internet programs
- Knowledge of government grant regulations and financial reporting requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or administrative roles.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experienced with foreign NGO is an advantage.
