Position: Junior Solar Engineer (Solar Green Energy (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.)__Deadline:31-August

Location:  Phnom Penh

Solar Green Energy (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (SOGE), established in December 2013, is a private company specializing in renewable energy solutions, particularly solar energy. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and install solar power systems.
• Participate in project meetings, including kick-off meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Report technical progress and issues to the Technical Manager.
• Prepare work plans for the technical team.
• Prepare system schematics and installation drawings.
• Supervise installation activities to ensure work is completed safely and according to quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for solar projects.
• Develop technical training materials and conduct training sessions when required.
• Travel to project sites in the provinces as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Technical Manager or Project Management Team.

Key Requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 5-8 years of experience in solar system design and installation.
3. Good knowledge of solar PV system design and installation standards.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Good command of spoken and written English.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
