Location: Kandal
Cambodia Children of Hope Association is a local Christian faith-based association registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support teachers, vocational trainers (sewing, culinary, agriculture, and other skills programs), and the education driver.
- Write/create and check curriculum for the Cambodia Children of Hope Association teachers
- Assist Cambodia Children of Hope Association skill trainers in researching and writing/creating curriculum for skill training lessons.
- Act as a liaison between Cambodia Children of Hope Association and Ministry of Education and the public and private schools our clients attend.
- Be in regular contact with the teachers and school administrators in regard to the students grades, attendance, and behavior issues.
- Supervise Cambodia Children of Hope Association Market with teachers and trainers.
- Supervise preparations for Welcome Parties when teams come to visit Cambodia Children of Hope Association.
- Evaluate teachers, trainers, and education driver regularly (sit in on teaching and training to ensure best education practices at Cambodia Children of Hope Association).
- Responsible for purchasing school uniforms and all school supplies.
- Organize payment of school fees for each term. Coordinate, Maintain healthy relationships with other NGO’s and training facilities on behalf of Cambodia Children of Hope Association.
- Coordinate monthly supply requests according to the needs of teachers and trainers
- Record Annual Leave Days requested and used by Education Department employees
- Organize and supervise Cambodia Children of Hope Association library. Participate with other staff in preparing clients’ daily schedules and class schedules.
Key Requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):
- Bachelor's Degree in Related fields
- Educational coordination for 2 years as a minimum
- Proficient English skills - both writing and speaking
- Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
- Good communication and team working skills
- Demonstrate positive and flexible attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques regarding job duties
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
