Position: Accountant (Student Development Institute Co., Ltd.)__Deadline:28-August

Location:  Phnom Penh

The Student Development Institute (SDI) was established in 2008 as a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution recognized by the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT). 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the accounting function to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping in compliance with applicable laws.
• Document financial transactions by entering data into accounting software.
• Secure financial information by performing regular database backups.
• Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status.
• Check and verify all accounting and financial documents.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Organize source documents, files and other account affiliated information.
• Perform proper maintenance of all end-of-year records.
• Contribute to strong student relationships through positive and meaningful interactions.
• Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns, as well as annual financial statements, to ACAR in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, or related field
• Experience in similar job capacity   for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
• Knowledge of Cambodia accounting standards
• Knowledge of Cambodia tax law
• Ability to create and maintain business networks/relationships
• Good command of spoken and written English languages
