Location: Phnom Penh
A Shift Supervisor in a flour mill manages the daily operations of a specific shift, ensuring milling targets are met efficiently and safely. They coordinate the milling process, lead teams of operators, enforce quality control, and maintain strict adherence to food safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Execute production schedules, maximize mill yields, and monitor equipment to ensure consistent flour quality and moisture levels.
- Team Leadership: Manage shift personnel, allocate manpower, and provide hands-on training to operators on proper machinery use.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), enforce food safety protocols, and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical or production issues, coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve abnormalities, and minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Compile and submit shift reports on milling outputs, packing details, and equipment performance to the Production Manager.
Key Requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):
- Bachelor's Degree
- High School Diploma
- Undergraduate Degree
- Grain milling or food production environment for 3 to 5 years
- Leadership role for 1 to 2 years as a minimum
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Milling Science, Food Science, or Industrial Operations (or equivalent on-the-job experience).
- Key Skills: Strong equipment troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of HACCP/GMP standards, and excellent communication and team-management skills.
