The PE Coordinator oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of sports and leisure programs for children and youth participating in the After School Program (Grades 1–6), Scholarship Students (Grades 7–12), and weekend activities. The role focuses on promoting physical development, teamwork, and character building while supporting the holistic development of children, including social and spiritual values.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organise, and supervise sports and leisure activities for weekday and weekend programs.
- Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and safe for all participants.
- Develop lesson plans and coordinate sports classes such as football, taekwondo, and other recreational activities.
- Maintain sports equipment and manage program resources within budget.
- Perform other duties as required by the leaders of ICF Social and ICF Church.
- Support program coordination including schedules and equipment.
- Guide and support facilitators, assistants, and volunteers.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in sports education, community development, or youth programs
- Leadership or team supervision experience is an advantage
- Intermediate English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to plan and coordinate activities and programs
- Good computer skills (email, Google Drive, basic reporting)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
