The Asia Study Abroad Consulting Manager is responsible for the strategic development, promotion, and management of study abroad programs across Asia. The role involves building and maintaining partnerships with international universities and institutions, advising students on academic opportunities, and ensuring successful placement and support throughout the study abroad process. The Manager ensures that the study abroad programs align with the institution’s mission, provide high-quality service to students and parents, and contribute to organizational growth.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Development & Management
- Develop, manage, and expand study abroad programs and partnerships with universities, colleges, and training institutions across Asia.
- Ensure compliance with partner institution policies, visa regulations, and educational standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver student preparation workshops, orientation, and counseling services.
- Continuously assess and improve program offerings to match market demand and international standards.
- Provide guidance to students and families on study abroad options, application processes, scholarships, and career pathways.
- Oversee the processing of applications, admissions, and visa documentation for students.
- Monitor and support students throughout the pre-departure, transition, and overseas study phases.
- Address student and parent inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with universities, embassies, education agencies, and scholarship organizations.
- Negotiate and manage agreements, contracts, and collaboration frameworks with partner institutions.
- Represent the organization in international education fairs, conferences, and professional networks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns, events, and information sessions to promote study abroad programs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, promotional materials, and digital content for outreach activities.
- Identify new opportunities to expand student recruitment in Asia destinations.
- Develop and manage the budget for study abroad programs and services.
- Monitor program performance, student enrollment numbers, and revenue contribution.
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with institutional and international requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, International Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Relevant experience in study abroad, international programs, or higher education administration for 2 years as a minimum
