Location: Phnom Penh
We founded Animal Rescue Cambodia (ARC) in 2016, and we have been operating as WVS Cambodia since 2024. As part of the Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) family, we aim to improve animal health and well-being throughout Cambodia by running a community vet clinic/shelter, a rabies elimination program, and an international spay/neuter training center for veterinarians.
Your will report directly to the Office Manager of WVS Cambodia. The responsibilities are divided between 2 locations – the community clinic/shelter in Beoung Tumpun and the International Training Center (ITC) at the campus of Royal University of Agriculture. However, most days, you will be working in the same location.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service and reception tasks, such as answering phone calls and messages via online platforms, scheduling appointments, preparing invoices, and welcoming visitors throughout the day.
- Communicate fluently and politely in English and Khmer - online, in person, via telephone and provide verbal and written translations as needed.
- Schedule students according to the training schedule.
- Monitor supplies including monthly stock count and supplies orders.
- Support the administrative team with financial preparations and records.
- Maintain an organized filing system (both digital and physical) to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Run errands such as visits to government departments and ministries.
- Perform HR-related administrative tasks, such as the onboarding/offboarding process of employees and any other required HR documents and procedures.
- Manage time and quality independently to assure efficiency and high work standards.
- Be open and available for occasional shift changes and be available to work on selected national holidays.
- Solve problems independently with a solution-oriented approach.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- You communicate fluently and politely in English and Khmer and can provide high standard translations within a short period of time. Your English and Khmer typing skills are fast and confident.
- You are a student of life, striving to learn when and whatever you can. You are eager to learn about animal welfare and the basics of veterinary care.
- When receiving instructions, you carefully follow them step by step. Once completed, your work is error-free and complete.
