KJC Farm is a social business poultry farm in Siem Reap, supported by Australian NGO Dana Asia. We raise high-quality chickens in biosecurity, international-standard facilities. All profits from chicken sales support local farmers with stable jobs, training, and income that help families move out of poverty.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:- Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review accurate Financial Statement (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow)
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports for Partners.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee all bank reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets
- Manage daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Implement and monitor systems to safeguard assets.
- Conduct audits to identify risks and improve processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits, providing all necessary documentation.
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.
- Collaborate with departments to create budgets.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Track variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Understand Australian financial and compliance standards after receiving DA Group led training
- Stay updated on tax laws and accounting regulations.
- File tax returns and ensure proper documentation.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable.
- Manage cash flow to support operations and investments.
- Train, and develop accounting staff.
- Delegate tasks and monitor the workload of junior accountants
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
- Report directly on all issues of financial control and accounting performance to the Finance Manager of Dana Asia
- Work closely with management, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth delivery of products to clients.
- Report regularly to KJC management and Dana Asia on Financial progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field for 3 years is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent Khmer and English language skills.
