We are seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our educational programs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide crucial assistance to teachers and ensure the well-being of young students. This is a rewarding position that involves both instructional support and nurturing care for children.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Assist with the implementation of instructional activities and lesson plans.
- Provide individualised attention and support to students' academic and social development.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom, ensuring student well-being.
- Support students with personal care needs, including hygiene and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional and social growth.
- Contribute to the organisation and preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Assist with record-keeping, progress tracking, and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication with parents/guardians.
Key Requirements:
- High School Diploma in or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of young students.
- Knowledge of child development and appropriate care practices.
