The FutureSense Foundation was set up by the FutureSense Group as its charitable arm to ensure long term impact from its learning abroad programmes engaging students in the UK and Australia. Over the years and since the launch of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Foundation has reinforced its commitment to play a role delivering to the agenda outlined by the United Nations.
With a focus on Education, Health and Livelihoods the Foundation seeks to play a part in improving the quality of education, addressing issues on gender equality, increasing access to clean water and sanitation, promoting good health and wellbeing, raising awareness on environmental issues and the need for climate action to deliver a sustainable world where no one is left behind and there is an end to poverty and hunger.
International students have played a key role in the Foundation delivering its programmes to low income communities across seven countries – Cambodia, India, Nepal, Peru, Panama, Tanzania, and Thailand. Through partnerships with local community-based organisations, NGOs and government run schools and health centres the Foundation reaches around 20,000 beneficiaries every year.
The FutureSense Foundation Cambodia was established in Battambang in 2012. Our programmes focus on the Ek Phnom and Sangkae Districts, serving communities where the majority of families live below the poverty line. Our partners include supplementary education organizations, government schools, health centers, Buddhist institutions, and elderly associations.
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to join our small team in Battambang, Cambodia as a Programme Delivery Lead. This position is pivotal in spearheading the efficient and effective development, planning, coordination and delivery of our education programmes and projects. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of programmes.
- Develop the annual programme delivery plan and support the hub manager in putting together Strategic Plan for the Country
- Collaborate with community partners to assess needs and develop initiatives.
- Plan activities and projects for incoming student groups ensuring delivery of annual programme plan.
- Provide training, orientation, and ongoing support to incoming student groups.
- Monitor the progress of projects, ensuring objectives are met and challenges are addressed proactively.
- Develop and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework, collect and analyse data to assess and report on programme outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage in budgeting for specific programmes and projects., ensure cost- effective use of resources.
- Support global fundraising initiatives by developing impact stories from programme and other project initiatives.
People Management:
- Supervise Project Implementors, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Support professional development and team-building activities.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with local partners, stakeholders, and communities.
- Build relationships with teams globally and collaborate with Programme Delivery Leads in other hubs.
Business Development and Forward Planning:
- Identify potential for new projects and expansion of existing programmes.
- Contribute to funding ideas through proposal development thinking.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Education, Public Health, or related field.
- Experience in programme management and volunteer coordination.
- Strong skills in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis.
