We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position of Production Planning Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly, are cost-effective and deliver products on time and of the right quality.
- Responsible for production planning, production output, product quality control, on-time stock control and shipping, and keep up to date with latest effective production methods and technology.
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day production and technical operations to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production, technical and machinery operations.
- Estimate costs and set quality standards. Ensure product quality through effective quality management systems, procedures and standard operating processes.
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Oversees the manufacture of products, including materials procurement and vendor management, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Work with maintenance team or vendors, to maintain all machines and tools are always working in good condition.
- Manage raw material inventory, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and meet production demands.
- Ensure all workers maintain productivity and staying on delegated tasks.
- Prepare and present regular production reports to general manager, maintaining accurate records of production activities.
- Any other task as instructed by the General Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in / MA degree in Engineering or related field. Understanding of Construction will be a plus.
- At least experience in a production management role, preferably in the building materials manufacturing, steel and metal fabrication industry for 5 years
- Proven experience in managing a production team and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, good time management skills. and the ability to priorities.
