The Supervisor, IT Business Analyst leads a team of business analysts to ensure effective collaboration between IT and business units. This role is responsible for overseeing the analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that IT solutions align with strategic goals. The supervisor also manages stakeholder relationships, project timelines, and the professional development of the analyst team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT Business Analysts.
- Allocate resources and assign tasks based on project priorities.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development.
- Lead the analysis of business needs and translate them into IT requirements.
- Ensure business requirements are clearly documented and communicated.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Support project planning and execution by providing analytical insights.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of business analysis deliverables.
- Resolve issues and escalate risks as needed.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather and share information.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and systems.
- Recommend innovative solutions and support change management initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in business analysis, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role. for 3 years
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and business process modeling.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and business intelligence platforms.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
