We are seeking a reliable, skilled Chinese Tutor Partner to work with our school.The partner will deliver high-quality Chinese language instruction (Mandarin) to students of different levels, support curriculum design, and help drive improvements in language outcomes. This is a partnership role, meaning you will collaborate closely with our school’s academic leadership, share responsibilities for planning, student progress tracking, resource development, and may also co-manage certain operational aspects of the tutoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chinese (Mandarin) to students at various levels (beginners to advanced) in both groups and one-on-one settings by following Montessori approaches.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and resources tailored to students’ language proficiency, needs, interests, and learning styles.
- Monitor student progress regularly and provide feedback to students (and parents if applicable), adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the school’s academic or curriculum team to ensure alignment with existing standards and goals.
- Maintain records (attendance, grades, assessment results) and report on outcomes for the teaching subject.
- Contribute ideas / innovations for improving teaching outcomes, materials, delivery methods (e.g. incorporate technology, multimedia).
- Teaching methodology should be following Montessori approach and Montessori curriculum.
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese; strong command of English (or local language) to facilitate explanations if required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (or related field), or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience teaching Chinese (Mandarin) to non-native speakers (or in similar tutoring / classroom settings).
- Ability to design lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.
- Good communication skills, patience, adaptability, and understanding of different learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, ability to work independently and in collaboration.
- An experienced Chinese teacher (Khmer national) would be considered.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience with online teaching / virtual classrooms
- Certifications ( Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language or similar).
- Experience in curriculum design / educational content creation.
- Experience in promotional / marketing activities (to help grow the tutoring partnership).
- Flexible schedule & class timings (After school program/Weekend program as needed).
- Revenue share / commission model or fixed tutor fee/ Number of students enrolled (Negociable)
- Access to school resources, facilities, and learning materials.
