We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fertilizer Machinery Mechanic to maintain, repair, and ensure the smooth operation of fertilizer production and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive servicing of industrial machines used in fertilizer processing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair on fertilizer production and packing machinery (mixers, crushers, granulators, conveyors, bagging machines, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out corrective actions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair faulty parts such as bearings, belts, gears, valves, and motors.
- Maintain lubrication, calibration, and alignment of mechanical components.
- Support installation and testing of new machines or production lines.
- Maintain maintenance logs and daily machine checklists.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure all equipment complies with company and environmental standards.
- Report major mechanical issues and improvement suggestions to supervisors.
Key Requirements:
- Undergraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least experience in industrial machinery maintenance (fertilizer, feed, or agrochemical factory preferred) for 2 years
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and mechanical manuals.
- Basic welding, cutting, and fabrication skills are an advantage.
