Teuk Saat 1001 is a NGO, established in 2007. Our main mission is to develop water kiosks in the rural communities to improve the access of safe drinking water in a sustainable manner. 

Teuk Saat 1001 has been dedicated for more than 15 years in providing safe drinking water.

The role of Teuk Saat 1001, besides developing station, is to support the entrepreneurs by providing a range of services such as technical support, monthly water quality monitoring and personalized coaching.  

Today, through a network of 900 entrepreneurs, operating 342 kiosks in Cambodia, in 18 provinces, O-We (brand of Teuk Saat 1001) is serving, on the daily basis, we serve more than 1 million beneficiaries, including 376,000 schoolchildren,

who receive safe water for free in 1000 primary schools across 18 provinces

Teuk Saat 1001  as the local partner of the French non-profit 1001fontaines. 1001fontaines is also active in Madagascar, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Directly report to: Managing Director

The Digital Project Coordinator will lead the digitalization of our organization to optimize and modernize our data collection tool and process from the water kiosks to the head quarter. The data collection is part of our DNA to monitor and improve the performance of each of our water kiosks. Additionally, to the external digitalization, a reform of our internal processes is needed to ensure efficient and cost effective administrative flow and process between the departments and the management.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

IT Assessment and Digital Transformation Framing

• Review and update the evaluation of the current IT landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Assess the current lacks and improvement of the IT structures
• Identify gaps in current processes leading to operational inefficiencies that hinder productivity and propose actionable solutions.
• Establish the requirements for new processes or data collection.

Coordinate the optimization of IT tools and processes

• Oversee the development and the implementation of new digital tools and processes.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, resources, and responsibilities for all digital transformation initiatives.
• Set clear objectives and KPIs to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives, including timelines for implementation and milestones for progress tracking.
• Organize and lead meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on project goals.

Capacity building

• Develop and implement training programs aimed at building the digital skills and competencies of team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to adapt to new technologies.
• Actively coordinate with various departments to ensure their engagement and contributions to the digital transformation project, promoting a culture of collaboration.
• Design and develop comprehensive training materials that facilitate the integration of digital tools into daily operations, ensuring that all employees are familiar with the new systems and processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements: 

Professional qualification

• Master in engineering or business (finance, management control)
• 2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in digital transformation, management control or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of IT systems and data management processes.
