To support the development, CCF is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Maternal Care Program Assistant based in Phnom Penh.
This role is responsible for managing petty cash in the Maternal Care
Program, coordinating training activities that promote maternal health,
assist in the delivery of services and provide administrative support
to the program. The Maternal Care Program Assistant also works closely
with clients to address and identify their needs by conducting family
assessments.
Reporting
Reports to: Maternal Care Program Supervisor
Manage: N/A
Key Liaison: Medical Clinic, Administration, Community Outreach and Counselor Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage petty cash effectively to support the Maternal Care Program (MCP).Process interviews and family assessments for new clients including home visits.
- Assist to provide counseling and emotional support to individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression related to pregnancy and maternal health.
- Visit and support members of the MCP who are hospitalized.
- Collect, input, track data, and main accurate data related to program activities in the MCP, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of clients.
- Coordinate and support any events or training activities in the Program.
- Assist in organizing and conducting health education sessions related to prenatal and postnatal care, nutrition and family planning.
- Prepare reports for the line manager as required.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, or related field is preferred.
- At least one year’s experience in health care services, social work, or in maternal care is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Email.
- Good written and oral English/Khmer.
- Be honest and trustworthy, patient, respectful, and helpful.
- High compassion and commitment to work with community people and children with complex backgrounds and home life.
- Able to take responsibility, be flexible and committed.
