Landell Mills International has been contracted by the European Union Delegation to Cambodia to enhance EU relations, partnership and cooperation with the Kingdom of Cambodia through more effective communication and visibility of EU's principles and values, external policies and actions.
To fulfil this contract, we are looking for a Content Design and Product Development Specialist to join our team of experts. We are looking for a great storyteller: somebody who can quickly get to the heart of a complex issue, and present it accurately and compellingly to multiple target audiences via a variety of media. The ideal candidate would be comfortable writing engaging social media posts, supporting video production, summarising long technical reports into concise yet accurate brochures or posters, briefing camera crews on location on-the-fly, and monitoring production outputs of a variety of service providers across multiple media, in order to ensure quality and clarity of content. This is a full-time position with a contract set to conclude in December 2025.
The role will begin as soon as possible, based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- Postgraduate degree in journalism, film-making, multi-media development or similar; or alternatively, 4 years professional experience in any of these sectors or in the field of public relations, additional to the requirements set out hereunder
- Fluency in English language
- Working knowledge of Khmer language would be beneficial
- 4 years of experience supporting organisations in the design and production of contents/products promoting organisational values and/or branding
- Professional experience in Cambodia and/or the ASEAN region will be considered as an asset
- At least 2 years of experience in managing or coordinating the development of contents and the design of products implementing communication and visibility strategies of international organisations (including international NGOs/institutions, and/or private sector)
- At least 1 assignment in which the expert was responsible of tutoring/advising management teams or communication teams of international organisations (including international NGOs/institutions, and/or private sector) in managing their social media presence (messaging via Twitter, Facebook etc.)
- At least one major project where they served as the lead producer/director or management of on a high-budget video production (e.g., commercial, documentary, corporate film, government or NGO campaign).
- At least 5 years of experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva)
- At least 5 years of Video Production & Editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro)
Interested candidates must be willing to relocate to Phnom Penh for the duration of the project, as remote working is not a possibility for this position.
