Position: Training Restaurant Manager (Friends-International)__Deadline:04-January

Are you skillful in managing a restaurant? Would you enjoy building better futures for youth and families?

If you answered ‘yes’ then you may just be the person we need.

We are opening an international standard Training Restaurant in the creative space of Friends Futures Factory located in Siem Reap. You will lead the restaurant team and manage daily operations, show the students how to work in a restaurant, build their skills, and deal with the local and international customers. You’ll have a chance to learn and grow as a professional while at the same time being a role model for young people.

Examples of responsibilities

• Deliver training to students about the importance of health and hygiene in the restaurant
• Manage the restaurant team and make work plans together
• Collaborating closely with the Vocation Training Manager, and working with Social Workers to plan support needed for your students
• Daily supervise all restaurant operations and ensure the safety of teams and students

1. Contact other restaurants in Siem Reap to learn about the job market
2. Prepare reports on the progress and results of your team's work

• Liaise with partners to share the best practice model on training youth and caretakers for employment

Does this describe you?

• You are a dynamic team leader who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth, and their families
• You have strong experience in showing others/training them on how to work
• You have experience in managing a restaurant
• You are comfortable collaborating with multiple teams and external partners (private companies, government, schools etc.)
• You have excellent skills in spoken and written English, besides your native Khmer
• You are comfortable with using MS Office, respond booking emails, and you know your way around social media
