The Wildlife Conservation Society, founded in 1895, has the clear mission to save wildlife and wild places across the globe. WCS's goal is to conserve the world's largest wild places in 16 priority regions, home to more than 50% of the world's biodiversity. We currently manage about 500 conservation projects in more than 60 countries.
WCS has been working in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia since 1999, providing technical advice and support for the conservation of key habitats and species across the country.

- Duty Station: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
- A postgraduate degree in interdisciplinary or social science disciplines
- At least 5 years’ experience conducting social research, with a track record of producing high quality research.
- Critical and reflexive thinker, familiar with questions around ethics, equity, and justice in conservation research.
- Excellent data management and analytical skills, including qualitative, quantitative and/or statistical analyses.
- Knowledgeable about conservation and rural development issues in Cambodia.
- Experience connecting or applying research results to design or implementation of policy and working with different stakeholders
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including experience delivering presentations and training.
- Excellent writing skills, including academic papers and research reports.
- Khmer fluency and good standard of English required. Interested in learning Bunong.
