Location: Phnom Penh (with travel to provinces)
Schedule: Full Time (3 Person-Months)
The Architect will be responsible to ensure that the Architect and Construction Supervision firm accepts and actions input from the international firm on human centered design and includes recommendations on human centered design into the architectural design of the three women’s shelters. Liaise with the Architect and Construction Supervision Firm on design requirements for the three women’s shelters.
- Advise the MOI PMU and CWCC on the architectural design produced by the Architect and Construction Supervision firm;
- Ensure that the Architect and Construction Supervision firm regularly liaises with CWCC, the owner and operator of the three women’s shelters, on design issues;
- Assist the MOI PMU to monitor the contract with the Architect and Construction Supervision firm construction on the design of three women’s shelters;
- Provide inputs to Quarterly Progress Reports; and
- Perform any other contract management tasks as required by the PMUs.
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture, with a master’s degree in architecture preferred;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture, including contracts preparation and management; and
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
