Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SP) is a nonprofit, nondenominational, evangelical Christian Organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
Location: Sampov Lun at Battambang Province.
The Procurement Officer is responsible for providing the support to every purchase requirement in Sampov Lun Base and support other bases as require to comply with the Procurement Policy, vendor data by each year of vetting.
Report to: Senior Procurement Coordinator
Contract type: Fixed Specified Duration
Duration: 1 year (Renewable, subject to funding availability)
- Research the Cambodian market in order to find suitable suppliers;
- Send Requests for Quotation to suppliers and prepare the Quotation Analysis based on the quotes received from the suppliers;
- Create the Procurement Package and work with the Project Managers on review and approval;
- Ensure supplies are delivered by the supplier and serve as the communication bridge between suppliers and Project Managers;
- Ensure Goods Received Note is created and signed by the person delivering and the person receiving;
- Serve as the point of contact for receiving the invoices from suppliers;
- Update the Procurement Package with the Goods Received Note, Invoice and Payment Voucher and work with the Project Manager to review and approve the Payment Voucher after which send the Procurement Package to Finance
- Perform regular supplier vetting and upkeep of the supplier database in coordination with the Operations Program Coordinator and Logistics Director;
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers in accordance with Samaritan's Purse Procurement Policy and educate suppliers on the Supplier Code of Conduct;
- Work with Procurement Coordinator to ensure new assets are tagged and assist in the semiannual hands-on inventory reporting for SP Cambodia assets
- Assist in organizing the logistics for internal and external events
- With a generous and serving spirit assist co-workers to perform any tasks, duties, or responsibilities for the benefit of the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse

- Minimum High School Diploma
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Ability to speak and write English is preferred
