We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position of Mechanical – Food Operator.
Location: Kampot Province, Cambodia.
Conditions: Accommodation and 3 meals provided
Starting date: Immediately
Roles and Responsibilities:- Set up machinery, perform adjustments, and calibrate equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Operate machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Be cognizant of any changes in a machine’s capabilities, checking for any malfunctions and reporting to management.
- Perform maintenance according to the assigned schedule and routine repairs to work related equipment.
- Assist in decisions on equipment selection, purchases, and processes.
- Create User guide manual and safety panels and conduct training to operators on how to use the machine properly and safely.
- Create and maintain the list of all machines and equipment with detailed information: ID of the machine, brand, purchase date, supplier information, problems, maintenance.
- With the QA team, create a cleaning procedure for each machine.
- Be in touch with the supplier to fix any problem encountered with the machine.
- Be sure that critical spare parts are in stock and maintain a list of the spare parts.
- Weekly meetings and reporting to the Manager.
- Any other duties as assigned by superior.
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
- Experience as a mechanical/electrical operator or in a similar role. Experience in food processing is a plus.
- Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to address machine and equipment issues.
- Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in using automation machines is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Basic spoken and written command of English.
