To support the development, CCF is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Academic Coordinator based in Phnom Penh.
This role is responsible for the implementation of the Khmer General Education Program following the MoEYS guideline. He/she is directly in charge of teachers’ supervision and managing of teaching and learning quality to ensure high school students pass rates. The Academic Coordinator will work with the school management team to recruit, transfer and place students in the right levels. He/she manages students’ performances and provides necessary support to ensure students get good learning outcomes. He/she prepares all required administrative tasks and reports for submitting to MoEYS by timeline.

Key Responsibilities
Take a lead in curriculum planning, Long Term Planning and Lesson Planning for Khmer General Education (KGE) to meet Ministry of Education requirements and CCF expectations.
Develop and implement quality assurance for the KGE program by working directly with the Education Team and Teacher Development Team
Provide support, direction and educational leadership to subject leaders and teachers effectively and timely
Lead and supervise both teaching and non-teaching staff performance plan and appraisal to ensure good working result.
Work collaboratively with Education Management Teams to set time tables and students regrouping based on each academic year.
Ensure all resources for teaching and learning are in place.
Ensure all assessments, both Assessment of Learning and Assessment for Learning, are well planned and done effectively according to CCF guidance and policy.
Record and analyze all assessment data to improve teaching and learning of student’s learning outcomes.
Produce required reports with accuracy and punctuality.
Develop and implement quality assurance for the KGE program by working directly with the Education Management Team and Teacher Development Team;
Provide a positive climate where we have high expectations and build relationships with students.
Work closely with STEM teams to ensure science subject teachers are able to join Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and run STEM projects successfully.
Work closely with Academic teams to ensure all teachers get Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to improve their ability, knowledge and skills.
Other tasks are assigned by line manager.
Requirements
Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work.
Bachelor degree of Science, Education or related field.
Certificate of pedagogy in any of Science subject.
3 years of professional experience in education management for Khmer General Education Program.
Experience of managing people from various professions.
Experience working in curriculum and pedagogy planning and staff professional development and training.
Excellent oral and written communication, including willingness and ability to positively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English.
Good at ICT skills.
