We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd, a long-established education group in Singapore, has been at the forefront of educational excellence since the founding of Kinderland Preschool in 1979. Over the past 46 years, Kinderland has expanded its presence to 12 countries, with 120 schools serving over 20,000 students across the region. In 2022, Crestar Education Group officially entered the Kingdom of Cambodia, and in August 2024, we are proud to launch our first overseas international school, TG International School, as well as Kinderland International Preschool, in Phnom Penh.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
- Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Manage accounting tasks
- Manage and analyze budget and create financial forecasts
- Publicize financial statements in accordance with the planned time schedule
- Gather, track, analyze and present summarized accounting information
- Calculate taxes and tax returns
- Prepare balance sheets and write profit and loss statements
- Create and present detailed reports for upper management
- Audit financial transactions
- Make sure that confidential information is secure
- Keep abreast with financial laws, rules and regulations and internal policies
- Attend all relevant meetings, including planning meetings
- Assist Supervisors/Heads in any projects or tasks related to school goals and objectives
- Participate in all school events
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
- University Student or Bachelor University Degree in related fields
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- At least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory position.
- Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office, Accounting System and other software applications) and Odoo system is a Plus
- Excellent command of Khmer language, good understanding speaking and writing in English language
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good team work and good communication ability and skills
- Demonstrate high level of ethical commitment and trustworthiness
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to learn new things
