Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant will oversee all financial aspects of ADMIT Group, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial systems, accurate reporting, and full compliance with local tax and financial regulations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s strategic goals by managing the daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, conducting budget reviews, and providing insights for long-term financial planning. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the management team to ensure financial sustainability and growth, while also overseeing payroll, tax payments, and financial compliance.
- Manage and maintain financial systems in accordance with ADMIT Group’s policies and procedures.
- Oversee financial and bookkeeping entries using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
- Review, verify, and prepare estimated budgets, financial reports, and expenditure reports.
- Prepare and process all payments, including tax declaration, payroll, NSSF, and any ministry-related and ensure timely of those payment.
- Manage on issuing the invoices to clients and follow up.
- Conduct monthly company’s fixed asset reconciliations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Prepare and update budget follow-up, financial reports, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations and other legal financial requirements.
- Assist the management team in preparing financial documentation for audits, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and track financial performance, highlighting any issues or variances to management.
- Provide strategic financial insights and assist in long-term financial planning for ADMIT Group.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the management and the Board of Directors.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and legal compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
