The job incumbent is required to properly accomplish the project sponsorship activities, form positive and close relationship with sponsored children, keep the long term relation with sponsors by providing progressive information, Provide reliable information to the national sponsorship department and give swift replies, ensure the implementation of the sponsorship policy support document, follows information on the general activities of the project and pass relevant information for the sponsorship department consumption.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Acts as intermediary between National Sponsorship Director and children or programs to safeguard the respective rights and interests of both groups in the village
- Organizes and manages sponsorship work in the village and assures/monitors quality
- Sponsorship relations and registration of the children in the sponsorship program
- Ensure that the mid-year reports and end-of-children reports are submitted and uploaded in DS app & IG Dam system in time with attractive child photos, Videos SPO Lap contents, or postcards for sponsors
- Responsible for writing thank you letters to the National Office
- Updating and monitoring child data and send to the sponsorship director
- Conduct Home Visit of children and bring them to the village with the complete documents and Health check-ups when there is new child comer
- Organize children's file and updating
- Records and uploads the gifts/parcel/letter information
- Look after sponsors by taking them to visit family houses and the visitors by houses by showing them around the village and other SOS Projects.
- Records and sends the address of visitors to the National Sponsorship Officer every month.
- Maintaining all photos of children and activities
- Ensures that the departure texts are aligned properly with the guidelines. Moreover, ensure all information provided in the departure texts are truthful and positive wherever applicable.
- Support and developmental activities through building relationships between children and sponsors
- Assist the Sponsorship Director in guiding to SOS mothers and relevant co-workers in the project ownership involved in sponsorship activities and how important sponsorship
- To support the village director/ CS focal person for raising awareness among team on SOS Child Protection Policy principles and assist relevant staff to prevent and protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence, and discrimination
- Guides, handholds, and supports youth leaders for SPO lab contents, mid-year and end-of-year reports.
- To support the village director in building and enhancing sponsorship service operations focusing on children's well-being and the transformation of registered children, their families and communities, and sponsors through collaborating with relevant co-workers in planning and reporting to the Sponsorship Director for the updating.
- Records and manages the digital copies of all the sponsorship-related documents/contents in the official digital storage drive.
- Assists National Sponsorship Team with additional assignments at the National Office as and when required/requested
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested with an appropriate sense of humor, positive and professional attitude, and team spirit.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; preferably in marketing, public relations, business management, communication or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience with NGOs or Previous experience working in or knowledge of the international development sector
- Previous experience working in, or knowledge of the issues associated with the development and implementation of a sponsorship or membership program,
- Computer literacy in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Video Editing, Photoshop and database programs
- Good facilitation, diligent and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer
- Strong motivation and ability to work and deliver under short deadlines
- Ability to understand new terminology and concepts easily and to synthesize information from different sources into a coherent document
- Displays sensitivity and adaptability to different cultures, genders, religions, races, nationalities and age groups.
- Flexible and able to embrace change positively.
- High sense of confidentiality
