East-West International School, established in 2006, is Phnom Penh’s leader in affordable, bilingual education. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be able to teach Khmer language from 7th to 12th grade.
- Plan for teaching students, materials and learning environment that support teaching practices.
- Attend meetings at the request of the school.
- Establishes an emotionally safe environment based on mutual respect, warmth, fairness and strong relationships am
- Establishes and implements classroom behavioural expectations that clearly outline norms and consequences, respecting school wide rules as appropriate.
- Establishes a classroom environment that engages students in lessons to promote learning.
- Perform tasks and responsibilities related to teaching as needed and requested.
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Khmer language/Literature.
- Completed training as a Khmer Secondary Teacher or Certificate of Pedagogy.
- Be able to communicate in English.
- Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office and Google Drive.
- Respect time, have patience and high responsibility.
- At least 2 years teaching experience with Secondary school.
- Possess good communication skills, be friendly and love the students.
