- Managing the organization’s procurement activities.
- Working with other departments to help identify procurement needs and priorities.
- Planning procurement to gain the best value and benefit for the organization.
- Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to meet the organization’s goals.
- Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on criteria such as quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing arrangements.
- Managing procurement budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery of goods and services.
- Addressing potential supply chain disruptions or quality issues and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Leading and supervising a team of procurement specialists.
- Continuously improving procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain Purchase system and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to the management.
- Must have at least a bachelor's of business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, or have at least three (3) years of work experience related to product merchandizing.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in cost analysis and procurement forecasting.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with sourcing and procurement tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and budget management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
