Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) is a local NGO in Cambodia that was renamed from Life With Dignity (LWD). LHCO works to serve vulnerable communities in Cambodia through development programs that prioritize human dignity.
S/he is required a full-time committed and highly motivated person, grants proposal writing, strengthening the capacity of program staff to ensure they are performing in timely and high-quality program/project designing/development, and reporting, and oversight of the grant management of program/project operations across LHCO's core program.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Master Degree in social sciences, humanities, development studies, human rights, political science or other relevant discipline or relevant experience
- At least 5-year experience in taking responsibility for high-level program/project development, management, implementation and monitoring
- Demonstrated experience in project proposal writing
- Programmatic expertise on the following themes: Livelihood and agriculture, humanitarian interventions, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)/Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), Governance, Social Community Empowerment, Youth programming, policy and campaigns.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with an NGO in a senior program funding position(s) involving proposal development, donor liaison and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent writing, reasoning and analytical skills
- Capacity-building experience, including training and skills development
- Experience developing successful proposals and/or tender bids to institutional donors such as EU and USAID
- Experience in developing successful proposals to private donors –trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals and/or corporates
- In-depth understanding of logical frameworks as a tool to develop the theory of change and intervention logic
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, often at a distance
- Ability to prioritize own workload and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lead complex proposal development teams
- Be flexible, proactive, and creative
