We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position of Head, Human Resource Management.
The purpose of Head, HRM is to work with the Managing Director, Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA).
The Head, Human Resource Management is responsible for:
- Developing corporate plans for a variety of HR matters
- Acting to support the human factor in the company
- Overseeing all HR initiatives, systems and tactics
- Directing change management and organisational development
- Oversee the implementation of Human Resource programs through HRM staff, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, as well as performance management. Identify opportunities for improvement and resolves problems
- Collaborate with business leaders to strategize programs and policies to attract right talent to support business goals, as well as enhance employee growth and satisfaction.
- Oversee and manages the work of HRM staff and provide guidance. Encourages the ongoing development of the HRM staff
- Developing and monitoring the HRM annual budget and operational plan that includes Human Resource services and employee recognition
- Conduct a continuing study of all Human Resource policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments
- Oversee all labor compliance tasks to ensure the compliance of the company
- Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company’s human resource policies and governmental laws and regulations to minimize risk
- Manage the management staff account through selection to termination processes.
- Developing and updating the company’s salary and benefits structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and increment
- Oversight company payroll prepared by the payroll PIC, including the development and management of payroll systems/calculation, ensure the timeliness of payroll delivery, pay stub generation and responding to payroll inquiries.
- Monitor the HRM processes to ensure adherence of the policies ad procedures, as well as no critical audit findings.
- Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Performing other functions as necessary or assigned by RO.
- Assisting in any projects or tasks in relation to company goals and objectives.
- Participating in all School-wide events.
Academic Education / Training / Experience
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or related subject is preferred.
- 5 years’ experience as HRM leadership role in a large complex organization in Cambodia
- Strong knowledge in job grade and job evaluation, preferably in international school
- Knowledge in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development
- Extensive knowledge in modern HRM strategy to engage as a strategic partner with other managers and a change mentor
- Prior success in leading and developing HRM department staff members.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resource recognition and engagement programs and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall organizational leadership and direction
- Ability to practice and coach company managers in the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Willing to work flexibly in dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability in leadership, networking, teamwork, and problem-solving
- Meticulous, analytical and self-driven
- Ability to think strategically
- Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with others
- Ability to “think outside the box” in identifying problems and implementing solutions
