Live & Learn Cambodia is a not-for profit and non-governmental organization. The organization aims to enhance its capacity to deliver high-quality training programs by developing a pool of skilled Master Trainers.
2. Objective
The primary objective of this consultancy is to design training curriculum and training materials targeting groups, such as NGOs leaders and CBOs leaders, focusing on resilient livelihood and food system in the context of climate change and disasters, and a Training of Trainers (ToT) guidebook, and deliver the TOT focusing on knowledge and skill in facilitation, communication, planning and leadership, to equip a selected group of staff with the necessary
skills, knowledge, and competencies to become effective Master Trainers.

3. Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for the following:
Needs Assessment:
- Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to identify the current training
- capacity gaps of the existing staff and training requirements.
- Identify potential Master Trainers based on their skills, experience, and potential.
- Develop a comprehensive ToT curriculum aligned with the organization's goals
- and objectives.
- Design training modules covering topics such as adult learning principles, instructional design, training methodologies, facilitation skills, assessment, and evaluation.
- Deliver the ToT program to the selected group of staff.
- Employ interactive and participatory training methods to enhance learning.
- Provide practical exercises and opportunities for hands-on practice.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching support to Master Trainers after the ToT program. Master Trainers will be required to conduct two pilot trainings to respective groups after the TOT.
- Offer guidance on curriculum development, training delivery, and evaluation.
- Develop an evaluation plan to assess the effectiveness of the ToT program.
- Collect feedback from participants and conduct post-training assessments.
4. Deliverables
The consultant is expected to deliver the following:
- A detailed needs and staff capacity assessment report
- A comprehensive training curriculum and materials, and ToT curriculum and materials
- A series of training activities based on the developped curriculum
- A full sets of training materials and resources
- A training evaluation report
- A mentorship and coaching activity and report
5. Consultant Profile
The consultant should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering ToT programs
- Strong expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Experience in the organization's sector or related field, including, but not imited to, livelihoods, agriculture, food system, climate change and disaster management, is preferred

The consultant is expected to complete the assignment within December 31, 2024.
