Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping our Organisation Strategy. This position is instrumental in providing technical expertise in policy analysis, advising, and fostering collaboration. The impact of this role is far-reaching, directly influencing CDRI's strategic direction. The Senior Policy Analyst's primary responsibilities include reviewing and analysing existing policies across sectors for research gaps and policy interventions. S/he will collaborate closely with our Research Centres and the Senior Management Team to advise on key policy issues and development priorities. This is a twelve-month position with the possibility of renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse existing policies across sectors for research gaps and policy interventions.
- Research and advise on key policy issues and development priorities.
- Prepare high-quality written research and policy briefs.
- Regularly liaison with policymakers and key stakeholders to share findings and discuss policy
Main Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree in public policy, law, development studies, development economics or other related fields (PhD strongly preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of the policy and development context in Cambodia
- Strong policy analytical, consultation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with team. • Excellent research and written and diplomatic communication skills in English and Khmer.
