ABOUT THE ROLE:
MAKSON International Academy is seeking a visionary and dynamic School Director to lead our school towards achieving excellence in education. The School Director will be responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, and operational oversight of the school. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to educational excellence, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Develop and articulate a clear vision for the school that aligns with its mission and goals.
- Lead and inspire faculty, staff, students, and the community towards achieving academic and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that promote the school’s growth and development.
- Set and monitor long-term goals and objectives for academic programs, student services, and school operations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a rigorous and inclusive curriculum.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning are maintained across all grade levels.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development for teachers and staff.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including facilities, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities and infrastructure.
- Build strong relationships with parents, community members, and external stakeholders.
- Promote the school’s mission and programs through effective communication and community outreach.
- Encourage and facilitate parental involvement in school activities and governance.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
- Develop and implement programs that support the social, emotional, and academic needs of students.
- Address and resolve student disciplinary issues in a fair and constructive manner.
- Develop and manage the school’s budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Ensure financial stability and sustainability through effective resource management.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to Board of Directors.
- Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality staff and faculty.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in educational leadership or school administration.
- Proven track record of successful school management and leadership.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
- Effective communication and public relations skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Proficiency in English language
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive school environment.
