Location: Phnom Penh
Directly report to: Admin and Procurement Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sourcing new suppliers / contractors – 50%
- Research potential suppliers according to the needs of the organization in divers’ sectors:
- Building contractors
- Plumbing items
- Consumable (20L bottle, plastics, stickers...)
- Electrical items (solar system, cabling, pumping system…),
- Water production technology (machinery, treatment, chemicals, media, filtration…),
- Laboratory reagents and equipment
- Transportation means: motorbike, trolleys, cars
- IEC: printing such as flyer, banner, signboard
- Negotiate the best quality / cost for the organization
- Visit existing and new suppliers to follow-up and assess their production, capacity and
- quality
- Consolidate the information of the suppliers into database
- Occasionally travelling to provinces
Bidding management – 30%
- Prepare all documents require for bidding and communicate on the appropriate network (collect information from each department, consolidate the information, update the
- information and post the bidding announcement)
- Follow-up the potential supplier for bidding
- Collect the bid answers
- Organize and lead the internal bidding committee
- Consolidate the informations and prepare the benchmark for decision making
- Prepare the contracts
Supply and procurement – 20%
- Support procurement team in responding to Purchase Order (PO) following the process defined by the organization (collect quote, bid analysis preparation, payment request
- preparation…)
- Coordinate the orders received dispatching with the support of the Stock controller
- Communicates with existing suppliers to follow-up orders and requests
- Organizing and entering important data into the database.
- Any tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Professional qualifications
- Bachelor degree of Business Administration or related field. Master Degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing in water production sector is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing local, oversea is a plus
- Proficient in data analysis and forecasting method with analytical mind
- Excellent in the use of MS Office (especially MS Excel), Google document, Google
- Spreadsheet is a plus.
- Experience in the private sector is required, knowledge of social business or NGO would be a plus.
- Good communication skills, leadership, ability to work under pressure
- Native Khmer speaker and fluent in English.
