Position: Operations Team Leader - Ocean Freight (DB Schenker (Cambodia) Limited)__Deadline:19-June

Responsibility:

• The core purpose of this role is to provide consistent, high quality customer service for customers in Ocean Freight department.
• Lead and manage the team to focus on the key Customer Service Drivers.
• Fully understand all contracts and charge structures including surcharges, additional charges and accessorial charges to ensure the company delivers on its promises and takes every opportunity to up sell and receive value for all services provided.
• Ensure proper implementation of new clients or new programs.
• Ensure and monitor all bookings with vendors/shippers are executed on time.
• Plan and coordinate with vendors/shippers.
• Ensure that the Customer service teams send timely quotations to the Customer.
• Monitor responsiveness on Query Resolution with shippers/Customers.
• Monitor data integrity of systems.
• Responsible for cross sell/up sell, customer retention.
• Follow up on the outstanding bookings & query resolution.
• Monitor, record and report the performance of team members.
• Work with the Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
• Ensure ocean freight operation is accordance to corporate standard procedure and guideline
• Promote teamwork spirit and cross division with effective communication
• Prepare weekly & monthly report as required by Head of Trade. E.g. Weekly allocation performance, the use of non-preferred carriers, on quotation hit ratio and so on.

Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Sales & Marketing/ Foreign Trade /Economics or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in managing small Operations / Customer service teams with minimum 4 years’ experience in the Logistics sector
• Good communication skill, efficiency in time management, high accuracy and patience and problem-solving skill
• 1-2 years leadership experience is an advantage.
• Good command of English
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Positive and convincing attitude, motivated and eager to gain business.
• Self-management (Planning, Organizing & Goal Setting, Execution)
