Job summary: Experienced data analyst skilled in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, delivering data-driven solutions. Responsible for providing data and analytics to clients, including dynamic habitat change analysis.
- Incharge of the agreed workplan and staff development plans for priority applications in terms of data analytics, and visualization tools such as graphs, maps, and charts
- Build capability in FiA staff for in data integration and analysis the data reporting and visualization.
- Regular update covering mangroves and seagrass capability and will report to international data analyst for coordination
- Confirm staff availability skills experience and availability
- Provide technical and technological training of staff for the staff development.
- Provide a guidance to staff to identify, practice and synthesize huge volumes of data timely to be useful for fisheries and environmental management and monitoring for decision making
- Design a concept for appropriate applications and services that synthesize and deliver information to meet requirement.
- Support staff to define the analytical framework to measure the change in habitats and environmental parameters in the nearshore fisheries and MFMAs
- Review the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) ecosystem models and their analytics, to enable these to be updated as data improves
- Bachelor's degree studies or tertiary qualification in data systems and data science: or related subjects
- 5 years of working experience in data sciences, data analytics and data application with experience in data visualization technologies
- Knowledge and skilled in typically tools using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau, R, Python, Microsoft Power BI, Jupyter Notebooks.
- Good command of Khmer and English
