Water for Cambodia is a non-profit organization that has been dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation solutions to Cambodian communities since 2006. We are deeply committed to improving lives and ensuring access to this essential resource. We install Biosand filters (BSFs), latrines, and wells and conduct hygiene training in schools and villages.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising & Partnership Officer to join our team and play a key role in securing the resources needed to achieve our mission. You will be responsible for developing and implementing creative fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with donors and partners, and securing financial support to ensure the sustainability of our WASH projects..

Contract details:
- Location: Siem Reap
- Starting in the middle of July 2024
- 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)
- Annual leaves (15 days) and public holidays
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of our fundraising strategy, including individual giving campaigns, grant writing, and event attendance.
- Craft compelling fundraising collaterals.
- Manage the fundraising and donor relationships database through CRM software (Notion).
- Prospect, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors.
- Strengthen and develop partnerships with NGOs and foundations in line with our WASH vision.
- Research and secure corporate partnerships that align with our mission and generate significant funding.
- Manage the grant writing processes.
- Assist with event planning and execution of fundraising activities.
- Track and report on fundraising progress and results.
- Ensure the gathering and use of updated information on fundraising trends and best practices.
- Provide support to social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Key responsibilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fundraising for a non-profit organization.
- Proven track record of success in securing donations and grants.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to Water for Cambodia's mission and social impact.
- Proficiency in the use of software tools (Canva) for producing high-quality collaterals respecting existing templates.
- Experience with donor management software (Notion) would be considered an advantage.
- Experience in WASH would be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in the use of mWater software would be considered an advantage.
- A strong understanding of Cambodia would be considered an advantage.
