Deputy Head of Corporate Banking for Local Entities is responsible for leading and supporting Relationship Managers to perform their daily routine job and monitoring both loan and deposit portfolio of local customers segmentation. Strongly support Head of Corporate Banking to mobilize the deposit customers as well as enhancing good relationship with prospective loan customers to be onboard. To manage and support Relationship Managers solving the issues and finding best solutions for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with relationship managers by providing the coaching, training and other techniques support to enable Relationship Manager (RM) to reach the target.
- Building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and understanding their financing needs, and structuring appropriate lending solutions.
- Leading a team to provide guidance, support in evaluating loan applications, structuring deals, and managing credit risk.
- Review and prepared Credit Proposal for new and existing corporate/commercial customers in accordance with Bank’s policy and proceed to Credit Analyst team;
- Ensuring credit facility and business process comply with AML, internal policies including regulatory guidelines, manuals and all other rules and regulations.
- Ensuring the annual review of each customers are on-time and documents are up-to-date for seeking approval to extend the line, or renew the facilities for customers.
- To ensure the conditions imposed by credit committee are complied with and completely settled with accuracy information and documentation.
- Defensed the credit proposal against credit risk management and approving authority with good justification and professional manner.
- Resolve customers issue on time such as credit facility, trade finance, deposit, and other related to ensure that customers are satisfied and appreciated.
- Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor or management.
Skills Specifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in the related Finance, Banking, Economics, or Business Administration etc.
- Minimum 5 years in banking industry and experience in corporate/commercial lending is required, and good at analytical skill and financial analysis.
- Multi-Tasking capability, results oriented, displays consistent performance, positive thinker with good attitude, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a dynamic personality with strong interpersonal, and problem solving, good communication skills and management skills.
- Sound knowledge of the industry and external environment trends and outlooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and third language would be a plus.
