Partners for Development (PfD), an American non-profit based in the Washington, D.C. area, seeks a proposal writer for a Food for Progress proposal for Cambodia to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Lead on writing key sections of the proposal, totaling between 15-35 pages at high quality on tight deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum of five years as a senior proposal writer with direct experience in the USDA Food for Progress modality.
- Field experience with an NGO a plus, especially in Cambodia or neighboring countries, and in agricultural development programs.
- Native level English language writing and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to weave in all proposal requirements in an engaging and persuasive manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills, and preferred experience with Microsoft Project.
- Current base in Cambodia or in a nearby country.
