The National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STI (NCHADS) in the Ministry of Health is looking for a highly competent of following positions:
Working in Phnom Penh office and province. This program financed via The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). Under the direct supervision of the director of NCHADS-SI, Program Coordinator for HIV program implementation and management under the GF grant, Finance Officers, Data Entry Clerks, and Provincial Data Management Officer are responsible for day-to-day oversight by Planning and Monitoring Unit, Finance unit and DMU unit of NCHADS-SI under GFATM-HIV/AIDS /KHM-C-MEF-H grant in Cambodia.
- To provide overall technical and managerial work for each survey conducted by the surveillance unit.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly work plan for the unit
- To conduct the develop national surveillance strategies in response to the current stage of the HIV/AIDS epidemic
- To lead the develop survey protocol and budget estimation for all routine surveillance survey and special survey.
- To advice the prepare and submit all required documents for approval from the National Ethic Committee for each survey conducted by the surveillance unit.
- Participate in identifying mechanisms to carry out surveillance and adhoc survey.
- To lead the develop training curriculum for Provincial AIDS Programs, groups or individuals involved in the conducted surveillance survey
- Develop checklists and schedules for survey supervision trips and provide necessary technical supports to the Provincial AIDS Programs for each specific survey in the fields.
- Supervise the data collection and write reports for each supervision trips.
- Coordinate with other units & provincial AIDS office to ensure that the field work for each surveillance project being conducted smoothly.
- Manage study budget in the fieldwork based on approved estimated study budget.
- Filing and arranging all documents and lab materials relevant to surveillance unit
- Prepare materials and other administrative work for the dissemination workshop of the results of surveillance and/or other special surveys.
- Analyze the surveillance data and involve in report writing.
- Organize and coordinate special workshop to do the estimation and/or projection of HIV prevalence in Cambodia.
- Disseminate surveillance and/or special survey findings.
- To work with due diligence in carrying out the tasks of the position.
- To cooperate helpfully within and between units to strengthen the performance of surveillance unit as well as NCHADS.
- To ensure regular, punctual and full-time attendance to duties during official working hours.
- To strive all times to assist the unit attain the highest levels of accuracy and honesty in all its activities.
- To work closely with the PME Units to make sure that surveillance data are properly useful for planning and programming.
- To undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of the Surveillance Unit or the NCHADS Director.
- Diploma in Medicine or Master of Public Health or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experiences in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention, Care and Treatment
- Experiences in leading the Conduct of Integrated Bio-Behavioral Surveillance Survey and Size estimation among Key Population
- Knowledge of Data management, Statistic, Graphics, Data analysis using the STATA Software.
- Other skills: program planning, budgeting, reporting and computer/digital skills (Ms word, excel, power point, Stata Software, zoom) are appreciated.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
