BORDA is a German NGO with operations in more than 15 countries worldwide. BORDA has been active in Cambodia since 2009 – with the aim to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged communities and to keep the environment intact through the expansion of sanitation services in the areas of decentralized sanitation, faecal sludge, solid waste management and holistic livable city planning. We work with local governments and enterprises to improve communal planning processes, sanitary supply structures and services in cities at variety of scales and applications.

BORDA  Cambodia  is  currently  seeking  a  Cambodian  National  to  fill  the following  position: Driver/logistic (1 position)

Salary $350 gross

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive office vehicles carefully: (i) in Phnom Penh and (ii) in the provinces in Cambodia, including during weekends, if required
• Ensure that the assigned Borda Cambodia Office vehicle is clean, road worthy and properly maintained
• Follow-up with regular car service and arrange for related repairs (if necessary)
• Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident
• Maintain the logbook properly
• Delivery, collection and follow-up of mails, documents, goods and other relevant Borda office items
• Assist  the  Admin/Finance  team  on  organized  training/workshop  regarding venue, transportation for staff and participations.
• Assist  the  Admin/Finance  team  daily  admin  tasks  (Quotations,  Photocopy, vouchers collection etc.)
• Follows-up necessary errands for the Cambodia Office
• Performs other related tasks assigned by the Borda Country Director/Regional Director

Requirement:

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate from high school
• Have a valid driving Cambodian licenses (at least type B)
• Further    requirements:    At  least    3    years    of  driving    experience    with   the government, companies, NGOs or international organizations in Cambodia
• Experience in driving long distances and difficult roads using 4x4 vehicles
• Experience driving in the forest and rural areas of Cambodia during the rainy and dry seasons.
• Business  language:  Ability  to  read,  write  and  communicate  in  Khmer  and English (minor)
• Basic knowledge of Administration
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicles
