Orchid Koh Pich Hospital’s facility is specifically designed and equipped with modern technologies for the convenience and comfort of first-time mother and child. The facility is fully staffed with highly skilled medical service providers ranging from gynecologist, births delivery, pediatric care, general medicine, imagery, ear nose and throat (ENT), laboratory and pharmacy.
It is a role requirement that the job holder must fully comply with and promote the vision, mission and activities of Orchid Koh Pich Hospital at all time.
Pharmacist – is responsible for dispense medicines prescribed by doctor and provide advice and information to patients and medical/nursing staff on their use and tell them briefly about the possible side effects. Ensure the availability of adequate and timely supply of medicines.
Key Responsibilities:- Good communication and assist customer to meet what they need, customer satisfaction
- Properly and efficiently dispense both prescription and non-prescription medications
- Check for drug interaction, verify prescription and ask for substitution when necessary
- Counsel patient on proper medication usage
- Receive stock
- Issue stock to wards
- Manage stock, place medicine in proper location applying with FEFO method
- Have excellent knowledge of all products available in store
- Report short expiration date drug and short stock drug to pharmacy manager to ensure drugs are not left to expired and the availability of adequate and timely supply of drug
- Perform inventory stock count monthly, and as needed
- Take part in any lost and damaged occurs in unit
- Maintain professionalism and behavior as pharmacist profession at all time
- Keep and file document properly
- Check and update first aid kit
- Refill stock, keep medicines and shelves cleaned
- Record vaccine fridge’s temperature
- Keep patient information’s confidentiality
- Team work spirit, help team member when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
- Bachelor degree of pharmacy
- Registered pharmacist
- At least 1 year experience in related field
- Knowledge of management, able to speak, read and write in English
- Computer skills such as Word, Excel Power-Point
- Good communication skills
- Good character and work ethic
- Honest
- Able to work with team, team work spirit
- Hard working, and able to work overtime.
