PEPY Empowering Youth’s vision is that every young Cambodian is empowered to achieve their dreams. To expand the opportunities available for Cambodian youth, PEPY works with young people, investing time and resources to connect them with the skills, systems, and inspiration necessary to achieve their goals, raise standards of living, and improve the quality of education in their communities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying and connecting to overseas partners and funders through events, networking, online research.
• Maintain donor database with the support of the department manager.
• Research for potential funding proposal opportunities
• Be a representative and spokesperson for PEPY at local and regional events.
• Manage  local  events for raising  awareness  about PEPY  alongside  the  Partnerships  and Development Manager
• Coordinate annual fundraising plans and monthly contact agenda
• Support the alumni association to plan fundraising and awareness events
• Responsible for coordinating and hosting PEPY tours with partner schools.
• Responsible for coordinating donor thank yous and acknowledge appropriate to their donation level with Partnerships and Development Manager and Communications Officer.
• Co-develop print materials and media to promote fundraising and networking activities at PEPY
• Attend training sessions on development and partnerships as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

• An individual who has at least 2 years’ experience in admin, sales, real estate, or marketing.
• Excels in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Khmer
• A multitasker who feels comfortable learning new computer and mobile applications
• An individual who enjoys meeting new people and feels positive about taking on new challenges
• Is confident in IT, digital marketing, online networking, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive
• Has experience speaking at events and in front of large crowds
• An individual eager to learn, and seeks training and courses on their own
• An individual that feels confident talking to people from different cultures and backgrounds
• A person who is highly organized and able to manage their own schedule and identify new project opportunities on their own
