THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The position is required to lead implementation of the WVI GEDSI Partnership Policy in the Cambodia country office. This includes within organizational functioning as well as across programmes and projects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement recommendations from the GEDSI Assessment and regularly evaluate progress and bottlenecks to strengthen GEDSI across organization and programmes
- Build GEDSI evidence base and develop strategic partnerships and networks to position WVI-C as a GEDSI partner of choice
- Build the capacity of World Vision staff to be able to support gender equality, disability and social inclusion and ensure no harm in programming
- Lead GEDSI Integration in the offices programming across all funding sources
- Lead GEDSI policy implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in law, gender studies, social work, development studies, social development, economics or relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience leading GEDSI assessment/integration/implementation work
- Understanding of institutional donors and/or World Vision/INGO GEDSI frameworks, emerging models, policies and/or programming
- Experience leading or supporting organizational GEDSI Self-Assessments or GEDSI Audits
- Experience in policy influence, advocacy or research-related field
- Experienced in writing/contributing to proposal development.
- Experienced living and working in Cambodia or Southeast Asia region.
- Understanding of social accountability programming
