Summary:
The Public Relations Officer is responsible for planning publicity strategies and campaigns. He or She will also support the writing and producing presentations, articles, press releases and social media posts as well as visual communications and other digital content.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Produce multimedia content in various formats, including, but not limited to videos, online photo galleries, photo exhibits, webcasts, podcasts, infographics, slide shows and PowerPoints.
- Maintain photo database(s).
- Support audio and visual needs of events, website(s), and publications.
- Create visually compelling designs for digital and print media.
- Conduct interviews and capturing photographs/ videos during project activities, and events.
- Proactively identify and pursue story ideas for online platforms.
- Utilize multimedia products for greater engagement of online audiences.
- Provide general administrative support to communications activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, Visual Productions, or other related fields.
- At least 3 to 5 years relevant experiences in similar role in an international organization preferably in Education sector.
- Strong knowledge and experience with design software such as Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Premier, Photoshop Final Cut Pro X and 7, SoundTrack Pro, and DVD Studio Pro.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Knowledge of web design principles, and experience designing for digital platforms.
- Ability to present concepts verbally.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media and online analytics.
