The U.S. Mission in Phnom Penh is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Public Health Administrative Management Assistant for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/Cambodia.

Job holder is a Public Health Administrative Management Assistant with a broad range of responsibilities. Duties include serving as the CDC Cambodia lead for communications efforts through development and dissemination of written and oral content, providing administrative and budget assistance to both internal CDC Division of Global HIV/AIDS and TB (DGHT) program team and Cambodian Ministry of Health partners. The position involves coordination and collaboration within CDC as well as with colleagues of other agencies and public health entities that administer public health-funded programs in country, particularly the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This role requires project management knowledge, results-oriented analytical skills, advocacy, and constant and clear communication with USG colleagues and the Cambodian Ministry of Health.

Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, budgeting or financial management for a public health, development-related public, diplomatic mission, or international organization which includes experience with creating and maintaining databases or spreadsheets is required.
The job holder must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Education Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration and Management, or Finance/Accounting is required.

LANGUAGE: English and Khmer Level IV (Fluent) Reading/Writing/Speaking are required. (This may be tested.)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: (This may be tested.)
- Must possess technical skills to create and maintain databases and spreadsheets.
- Must be able to learn and use new software.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Khmer and be able to effectively communicate with government and non-government counterparts.
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
