Initially established in 1996 as a project of International HIV/AIDS Alliance, KHANA has started operating as an NGO in 1997 and was officially registered as a local NGO in 2000. Since then, it has been operating as a linking organization (LO) of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance which is now known as the Frontline AIDS. KHANA is one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Cambodia that has made critical contributions to the national HIV response and other health and development related services to key, vulnerable and underserved populations in Cambodia. KHANA’s work has been made possible through financial supports from the USAID, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), The Stop TB Partnership, The French 5% Initiative, and The Frontline AIDS.

Main Responsibilities Accounting
- Prepare vouchers for payments, receipts and journals for the relevant line managers for approval
- Record and post all authorised payment requisition, receipts and journals into the cheque book, cash book and accounting software.
- Prepare cheques for review and signature and keep custody of KHANA’s project cheque books
- Prepare cheque book reports for bank reconciliation
- Prepare monthly bank reconcile.
- Ensure day to day management of the cash payment and keep custody of KHANA’s safe box
- Assist the Cooperate Finance Coordinator for prepare monthly VAT report to GDT and donors.
Management of the Unified Payment
- Ensure day to day management of the project cheques payment and keep custody of KHANA’s project cheque books
- Ensure arrangements of banking transactions such as transfer, withdrawal, deposit money into the bank and collection of bank statements from the bank
Staff Advances
Ensure that all advances made to staff are properly checked and authorised and that expense reports are filed in a timely manner by
- Checking total on expense report for accuracy
- Checking per diem rate and clarify with relevant policies
- Verifying number of days claimed
- Ensuring that payments made to staff/consultants are signed for by the recipient.
General support
- Provide general support to the Cooperate Finance Coordinator, Finance Officer, and relevant staff.
- Participate in the Finance Team, Project Team meetings and other meeting of KHANA as required
- Assist Cooperate Coordinator and Finance Officer in maintain financial documents
- Travel to provinces to support project team for DSA payment
- Undertake other duties as required

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- One year experience in accounting or finance.
